MycoAlert®
The MycoAlert® kit from Lonza offers an easy and reliable method for detecting mycoplasma contamination. It is optimized for use with the Lucetta™ luminometer, but if you already have a luminometer, alternative MycoAlert® options are available for most instruments. This method detects an enzyme found in nearly 200 mycoplasma species, which is not present in eukaryotic cells.
