Luna® Universal qPCR & RT-qPCR

Luna® Universal qPCR & RT-qPCR products from New England Biolabs are designed for fluorescence-based quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) and reverse transcription qPCR (RT-qPCR). These reagents are optimized for high sensitivity and specificity in the detection and quantification of nucleic acids. Luna products are available for both intercalating dye and probe-based detection methods.  

Additionally, Luna reagents include the passive reference dye ROX, which is used to normalize fluorescence signals and improve data accuracy. All Luna products are compliant with the MIQE (Minimum Information for Publication of Quantitative Real-Time PCR Experiments) guidelines, ensuring high-quality and reproducible qPCR results.

OneTaq® DNA Polymerase

The OneTaq® DNA Polymerase is an optimized blend of Taq and Deep Vent® DNA polymerases, designed for robust amplification across a wide range of templates. The 3′–5′ exonuclease activity of the Deep Vent DNA Polymerase enhances the fidelity and robustness of Taq. The OneTaq Reaction Buffers and High GC Enhancer are formulated to provide robust yields with minimal optimization, regardless of the template's GC content. The OneTaq polymerase is available in a master mix and a Quick-Load® master mix format. 

  • OneTaq Hot Start DNA Polymerase (#M0481
    Utilizes aptamer technology for hot start, which binds to the polymerase through non-covalent interactions, blocking its activity at temperatures below 45°C. This means that the polymerase is activated during normal cycling conditions, allowing reactions to be set up at room temperature. This feature combines convenience with decreased interference from primer dimers and secondary products. 
     
  • OneTaq Quick-Load 2X Master Mix with Standard Buffer (#M0486
